Healthy Cow Corporation Signs MOU & Initiates Field Studies With Kent Corporation
Toronto, ON, October 2019 — Healthy Cow Corporation (HCC), an ag-biotech startup using microbes to improve cow immunity, health, and welfare, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kent Corporation to conduct a field study. HCC and Kent will collaborate to pilot HCC’s innovative bovine probiotic product, ProPreg™, on a conventional farm in eastern South Dakota.
ProPreg™ is an intra-vaginal probiotic that assures a healthy and balanced microbiome in the reproductive tract of cattle before and after calving. Previous proof of concept and safety studies have shown great success in ProPreg™’s probiotic consortia. This field study will validate the efficacy of ProPreg™ on commercial farms.
“We are excited for the opportunity to work with Kent Corporation to further validate ProPreg™ and it’s capabilities of improving cattle health,” said Louis Hui, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of HCC.
